Hi friends,
After spending what feels like a lifetime (and several thousand cups of coffee) in public accounting, I’ve come to realize something: small businesses aren’t just numbers on a spreadsheet — they’re people, stories, late nights, big risks, and a whole lot of heart.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to conduct audits, reviews, and compliance work across just about every industry you can imagine — entertainment, real estate, financial services, government, pension plans, not-for-profits… you name it, I’ve probably reconciled it.
But somewhere along the way, I found my niche.
It wasn’t in the binders.
It wasn’t in the checklists.
It definitely wasn’t in the 200-page audit reports.
It was in sitting across the table from business owners and really understanding what makes their business tick — the heart, the soul, the “why.”
I’ve always believed accounting should feel less like a chore and more like a strategy session. Less “here’s what you owe” and more “here’s how we build wealth.”
After countless hours, long tax seasons, growing with clients, and more spreadsheets than any human should legally open in one lifetime, I finally decided to do the scary/exciting thing…
I opened my own firm.
Some might call it a boutique firm.
Some might call it specialized.
If I’m honest? It’s my little vanity project — built exactly how I think an accounting firm should feel: personal, strategic, proactive, and maybe just a tiny bit fun.
Because taxes are serious… but working with your accountant shouldn’t feel like going to the dentist.
Our approach is simple:
We learn your business inside and out.
We plan ahead.
We talk strategy year-round.
And we look for every legal opportunity to keep more money in your pocket.
In fact, my favorite thing to tell clients is:
“Don’t ask me if it’s deductible — ask me how to make it deductible.”
There’s almost always a smarter way. That’s our job — to find it.
Thank you for trusting us with your businesses, your dreams, and your late-night “quick question” emails. It truly means the world to me.
We’re here to guide you, advocate for you, and occasionally make you laugh during tax season.
Warmly,
Abby Garcia
